Milwaukee Bucks Player Fined $2,000 By NBA

On Thursday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks played their first game of the 2023-24 regular season when they hosted the Philadelphia 76ers in Wisconsin.

The Bucks won the game by a score of 118-117, and Damian Lillard had a sensational debut with his new team.

Following the game, the NBA announced that Jae Crowder was fined $2,000 for flopping.

Crowder played 27 minutes and had nine points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Crowder is coming off a season where he averaged 6.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest while shooting 47.9% from the field and 43.6% from the three-point range in 18 regular season games for the Bucks.

He is in his 11th season in the NBA and has played for the Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Suns, Miami Heat, Utah Jazz, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks and Memphis Grizzlies.

His career averages are 9.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 41.9% from the field and 34.8% from the three-point range in 754 regular season games.

Last year, the Bucks were the first seed in the Eastern Conference but lost to the Miami Heat in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
