Chet Holmgren's Viral Post On X After Thunder-Cavs Game
On Friday evening, the Oklahoma City Thunder played the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road in Ohio.
Chet Holmgren had a fantastic night with 16 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, one steal and seven blocks in 31 minutes of playing time.
Holmgren was the second pick in the 2022 NBA Draft out of Gonzaga but missed all of last year due to injury.
Therefore, this is his rookie season, and he is part of a Thunder team that is arguably the most talented young team in the league.
In addition to Holmgren's fantastic night, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 34 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, five steals and one block in 36 minutes of playing time.
The Thunder won their first game over the Chicago Bulls (also on the road) by a score of 124-104, so they are off to an excellent start to the year.
They will play their next game on Sunday afternoon when they host the Denver Nuggets at home in Oklahoma City.
